When planning for your wedding, it is always good to consider how you would like to keep your wedding guests busy when you may not be around to keep them company. For example: if you are taking couple photos after the ceremony or during the wedding reception once your guests are done with their meal.
Below is a few ways on how a couple can ensure that you get something to remember from your wedding especially because you will blink your eyes and the day will have gone by so quickly.
Firstly, it is a nice idea to get other couples, family and friends at your wedding to give advice and wishes to you. It will certainly be very interesting and will keep you entertained for a few days after your wedding day reading what everyone has said. We had a mix of advice from the younger people who had a lot of fun and sexy thoughts running through their minds to our elders who wrote encouraging messages and how we should make our marriage last a lifetime. We loved it!
WEDDING CARDS ~ ADVICE FOR THE NEW MR AND MRS
WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE BRIDE AND GROOM
WEDDING GUEST BOOK
Similar to guests writing on small advice cards and wish tokens is a wedding guest book. This is something that you should have at every wedding. So that if you are unable to capture a picture with all your wedding guests then at least you can get them to write a personal message to you.
SOCIAL MEDIA ~ WEDDING HASHTAG
Since, we are becoming so technologically advanced day-by-day this brings me to another good idea to keep guest busy on your wedding day. This is to create a wedding hashtag, for example ours was #HappilyEverSequeira specifically for Instagram. Then guests are able to take pictures of themselves as well as of their surroundings at your venue and while you finally relaxing on honeymoon you can look back at your amazing guests having a great time.
Another reason why I love the idea of creating a hashtag is that while your photographer is mostly taking pictures of the Bride and Groom the whole day including the couples family. It is nice to see some uncandid moments which the photographer may not necessarily be able to capture of friends, wedding guests and even pictures that the guests take of the couple together.
It is always a beautiful idea to think about having a backdrop at your wedding which guests can take pictures in front of. At most weddings the trend is to have a tall wall custom made with flowers covered all over and suited specificially to your wedding theme. Alternatively, if your wedding venue creates its own fairytale backdrop with the dreamy scenery and landscape then you can always compliment the background with a ‘I Do’ wedding sign.

We look forward to hearing from you!
